PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2010) — Bob Majewski, new president of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB), has publicly thanked the Tire Industry Association (TIA) for its message of support to TRIB.
“Speaking for TRIB and the board of directors, we are blessed to have TIA and your great staff's ongoing support of this great association in all our efforts,” Mr. Majewski said. “We know everything done is for the good of our members and supporters.”
TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield sent TRIB a message Nov. 15 reiterating “its complete, ongoing support” for TRIB and its members. Mr. Majewski recently succeeded Mike Berra Jr., newly elected TIA president, as president of TRIB.
Messrs. Berra and Majewski and others made the decision Oct. 5 to dismiss Harvey Brodsky, longtime managing director of TRIB. David Stevens is the new TRIB managing director, while Mr. Brodsky has founded his own group, the Retread Tire Association.
