HANOVER, Germany (Nov. 9, 2010) — The German Institute for Rubber Technology, known as DIK (Deutsches Institut fuer Kautschuktechnologie), opened a $5 million expansion of its technical center Nov. 2.
The addition nearly doubles the structure's floor space, the DIK said. The DIK employs 55 chemists, physicists, engineers and technicians performing research on a top international level.
