The 2010 International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC), Sept. 21-23 in Cleveland, will feature three presentations designed to help dealers take advantage of the Internet to boost their dealerships' sales.
Ron Sinclair, senior vice president of marketing for American Tire Distributors Holdings Inc., will lead the How Internet Growth Will Affect Tire Sales session. He will identify consumer trends in searching for tire information and purchasing tires online. This session also will demonstrate how an independent tire dealer can capitalize on these trends.
Patrick Sandone, founder and CEO of Net Driven, will present Web Sites and Internet Marketing for Tire Dealers. He will discuss lessons he has learned from building and maintaining websites for tire dealers across the U.S. and Canada.
Rod McGregor, president of marketing and communications firm Crowl, Montgomery & Clark, will discuss The Effective Use of Social Networking: How Big Will This Become? Mr. McGregor has more than 25 years of strategic marketing experience, specifically in new product development, branding and sales channels.
The conference registration fee is $50 for independent tire dealers distributors and personnel at tire manufacturing facilities. The registration fee for tire industry suppliers is $200.
