CHICAGO (April 6, 2010) — China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C. (CMA) is rolling out an advertising campaign for its Double Coin truck tire brand that features testimonials from dealers and fleet managers.
“My money's on Double Coin” is the tag line for the new ads, which will run in trucking and tire trade media and online, CMA said.
The ads focus on the benefits of using Double Coin tires, high quality, retreadabilty, product line diversity and the ease of doing business with CMA/Double Coin, according to CMA Vice President Aaron Murphy.
The new ads are an evolution of the firm's “Smart Money is on Double Coin” campaign, developed by Fathom Communications of Chicago, which has been running since 2008.
The first two of the new ads feature Dan Pearson, president of Northwest Tire Inc. of Bismarck, N.D., and Mark Cooper, fleet manager of Cooper Freight Services Inc. of Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Pearson talks about the brand's retreadability, while Mr. Cooper discusses CMA's national accounts program and other services.
CMA claims Double Coin's market share has increased since 2008, reflecting “our commitment to product innovation, distribution and customer service,” Mr. Murphy said.
CMA, the Monrovia, Calif.-based sales subsidiary of China's Double Coin Holdings Ltd., claims there are more than 1,200 service points in North America for Double Coin. Among the 900 in the U.S. are 67 Love's Travel Stops with tire care centers.
