RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (March 31, 2010) — The Brake Manufacturers Council (BMC) of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) has rolled out an updated Web site that offers members a resource for the latest industry news, council events, initiatives and programs.
Features of the updated BMC site include a daily news feed to the top news stories about trends and events affecting the motor vehicle parts supplier industry; a BMC membership roster with individual contact information and company Web links; a calendar of industry events; and links to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) technical papers and other important Web sites and publications.
Jack Cameron, BMC staff executive and AASA vice president, said the update of the site, under development for several months, had direct involvement of BMC leadership. “The new site is a great online resource for members. A BMC Web Site Committee will be appointed to add even more enhancements to the site in the future.”
The BMC, established in 1973, said it is dedicated to providing and maintaining for its membership communications with federal, state and local governmental authorities, as well as technical bodies and Standard Development Organizations, such as SAE and its technical committees.
