Mickey 'Ron' Willis
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.Tire dealer Mickey Ron Willis, co-owner of Pro Tire Center of Fayetteville Inc., died of a heart attack March 6. He was 59.
Mr. Willis had worked at the former Corder-Vossier tire business in Fayetteville before opening his own retail tire store in 1983. The dealership sells numerous brands of tires, including Michelin, Firestone and Hankook, and offers automotive services.
His business philosophy, according to assistant manager Norman Street, was: The customer is the No. 1 priority and is always right. We bend over backwards to accommodate the customer.
He said Mr. Willis' partner, Jerry Horne, will continue to operate the dealership, which employs eight.
Mr. Willis is survived by his wife Janie Lynn and daughter Amanda.
