EDENTON, N.C. (Feb. 5, 2010) — Internet-based tire retailer MyTireMonkey.com will drop the “My” from its name and Web site—becoming TireMonkey.com—effective Feb. 10.
Accompanying the Web address changeover will be a new logo, tagline and several other functionality improvements to the site, the company said. All visits to MyTireMonkey.com starting Feb. 10 will be automatically redirected to the new site.
“Based on our research and analytics, it's easier for consumers to recognize TireMonkey.com than MyTireMonkey.com,” said Tully Ryan, president and CEO of the Edenton-based company. “We're devoted to streamlining shoppers' online tire buying experience, so switching to something simple just makes sense.”
