CYPRESS, Calif. (Dec. 8, 2009) — Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has been re-certified under ISO 9001:2008 management system standards, which the tire maker said affirms its “dedication to meeting the international standard for customer satisfaction…(and) continual organizational improvement.”
The International Organization for Standardization sets voluntary standards for quality related to products, services, processes, materials and systems and for conformity assessment, managerial and organizational practice. Toyo initially received certification under ISO standards in 1997.
“As a company, Toyo Tires strives to meet the strictest standards for delivering both product quality as well as the utmost in customer support,” said Yasushi Takagi, Toyo's president and CEO.
