Software developer ASA Tire Systems Inc. awarded its inaugural Dealer of the Year honor to Becker Tire & Treading of Great Bend, Kan., during its InfoExpo client conference in September.
Nominations were submitted by ASA account managers and voted on by all ASA staffers. Considerations included successes in business, overcoming adversity, community relations, volunteer work, employee satisfaction, charity, technology adoption, overall good nature and other attributes deemed appropriate by those nominating a client, according to ASA.
Earlier this year the Nashua-based computer technology services firm offered a total of $1 million in the form of an economic bailout package for qualifying tire dealers in the U.S. and Canada to invest in ASA's products and services.
The bailout program taught us that our clients have many phenomenal human and business interest stories and we want to recognize them for their greatness, ASA Tire President Wayne Croswell said.
The (Dealer of the Year) Award is another way that all of the ASA staff can recognize and thank our outstanding customers for their progressive thinking, their continued commitment to their employees, their communities and the industry, and their profitable use of ASA technology, he added.
The other four finalists for the award were: Boulevard Tire Center of Deland, Fla.; Country Tire Service of Blair, Neb.; Express Tire Auto Service Centers of Escondido, Calif.; and Noyes Automotive and Tire Service of Burlington, Vt.
