DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Oct. 14, 2009) — With the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show right around the corner, the trade group is offering a sneak peak at more than 100 new products slated to debut at the event, Nov. 3-6 in Las Vegas.
In the October digital edition of its SEMA News magazine, the Diamond Bar-based association is featuring some of those products in a show preview. SEMA said the New Products Showcase—which “highlights the industry's most recent innovations in performance, function and style”—will be moving to a more prominent show location. It will be located in the upper South Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center, in front of the trucks, SUVs and off-road and powersports and utility vehicles sections. At 25,000 square feet, the showcase—which will open at 8 a.m., prior to show hours—is 25-percent larger than its previous footprint, according to the trade group.
As with the 2008 show, SEMA said buyers will be able to use scanners that read a barcode associated with a new product. The captured product information can then be downloaded in several formats.
