MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2009) — American Car Care Centers Inc. (ACCC) recently recognized three of its member-dealers for their fundraising efforts during the marketing group's recent nationwide “ACCCelerating Miracles” campaign, which raised more than $100,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.
Chad and Tracey Duke, owners of the single retail location Duke's Tire in Wilmington, N.C., raised donations of $5,346 for the local Duke's Children's Hospital during the two-month campaign.
Paris Tire and Service in Denver, owned by Jamie Paris, generated $4,127 in contributions during the campaign, exceeding their goal of $4,000 for the local Denver Children's Hospital, ACCC said.
The staff of Mass Tire & Auto Service in Weymouth, Mass., brought in $2,611 for their local Children's Miracle Network hospital.
ACCC said all three dealerships will be invited to attend the Children's Miracle Network's annual sponsor event next year in Orlando, Fla. They also will receive prize packages consisting of ACCC showroom components and the company's American Radial private brand tires.
Children's Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals. Contributions help fund medical care, research and education that, according to ACCC, “saves and improves the lives of 17 million children each year.”
