WAYNE, N.J. (May 8, 2009) — Hankook Tire America Corp. has launched a Mobile Marketing Unit, a traveling showroom tour that will visit select U.S. dealer locations providing on-site marketing support for dealers.
The purpose of the tour is to increase brand awareness and assist Hankook tire dealers with sales. At each Mobile Marketing stop, customers and dealers can learn about Hankook products and technology, and some participants will be able to test drive Ford Mustangs fitted with Hankook tires through an autocross-style course.
The Mobile Marketing rig, which is 30 feet by 80 feet, will be used to merchandise Hankook Ventus and Dynapro performance tires and to “communicate the company's Kontrol Technology philosophy,” Hankook said.
“We think helping our dealers with store front promotions and by giving them a practice ride-and-drive experience, we're providing support that can be the difference between merely surviving or thriving in this challenging and competitive marketplace,” said Bill Bainbridge, director of brand communications for Hankook.
