CHINO, Calif. (April 13, 2009)—Vee Rubber America Inc. has relocated its sales offices for passenger, light truck and medium truck tires to Chino from Ontario, Calif., the company said.
Patrick Hyland, sales and marketing manager for Vee Rubber, said the company wanted to move to a more up-to-date location with better equipment. The move was effective March 1. Mr. Hyland added that the company's U.S. motorcycle tire sales offices will remain in Lithia Springs, Ga.
According to Mr. Hyland, the company, which introduced its line of passenger and light truck tires in North America in 2008, is continuing to introduce product lines and establish its North American distribution network. He added that Vee Rubber has not been drastically affected by the slumping economy.
“We've slowed some of our expansion plans, but at the same time we're still signing up new distributors and dealers,” he said.
Vee Rubber America is a subsidiary of Vee Rubber International Co. Ltd. of Bangkok, Thailand.
