COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (March 12, 2009)—Tire Company Solutions (TCS) has announced a tire dealer stimulus program that involves giving away its Tire Power 7.0 software suite to 25 new dealer customers who may have the need but not the funds to buy the product.

The company said the idea behind the promotion is "to springboard dealers into increased profitability" and prove it´s possible to thrive in this economy.

TCS said the promotion will run March 15 through May 15.Interested parties can contact TCS at (888) 449-8473 or download a form from www.tcstirepower.com to apply for the program. TCS said it will select the recipients based on various criteria, which it did not detail.

“Our primary motivation has always been to assist and grow the tire industry by easing the burden of day-to-day business operations and equipping every employee to sell more tires and provide superior customer service," said Shawn Puckett, vice president of business development. “We strive to be the best at improving the dealer's business in all areas. The most essential tool in today's tire business is the IT infrastructure. We are giving this tool away as a means to improve the most essential part of their business in an economy that settles for nothing less than the best.”

The giveaway follows a similar “stimulus” announcement by ASA Tire Systems Inc. of Nashua, N.H., which is offering $1 million worth of technology solutions to dealerships.

TCS said another ongoing philanthropic effort it is undertaking is distributing vouchers to potential clients and affiliates redeemable for a donation to various tire dealer association scholarship funds. Each voucher turned in to the TCS booth at trade shows and virtually at TCS virtual education days yields additional dollars given to the state associations' scholarship funds.
