STAUNTON, Va. (March 3, 2009) —Federated Auto Parts Inc. will again sponsor the Federated Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race, which will be held June 6 at the Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tenn.
It's the 14th consecutive year the Staunton-based auto parts distributor is fronting the race, which will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
Rusty Bishop, Federated's CEO, called the event “the mainstay of our motorsports marketing program. Every year we entertain over 1,200 customers as well as our manufacturing partners in Nashville during race weekend. This year we are especially excited to welcome the winners of our first-ever Federated 'Start Your Engines' Sweepstakes. It promises to be a weekend of great racing and fun for everyone.”
In last year's Federated 300, Brad Keselowski captured the checkered flag. As part of the company's pre-race festivities, Federated customer Troy Doss of Louisville, Ky., was awarded the official truck of the Federated 300.
