DENVILLE, N.J. (Jan. 9, 2008) — Alliance Tire Co. USA Ltd. has added six sizes to its forestry and agroforestry tire lines.
Denville-based Alliance Tire has released 18.4-26 and 16.9-30 sizes for its high-traction, steel-reinforced Alliance 345 Forestar LS-2 tire model, designed for use on skidders and forestry tractors.
The company has also introduced 800/40-26.5, 710/45-26.5 and 600/55-26.5 sizes for its 344 Forestar LS-2 flotation tire. The Forestar LS-2 is designed for use on forwarders, harvesters and harwarders, which are machines that combine forwarding and harvesting operations. The tire uses low-angle lugs for enhanced grip and features a wide footprint.
Finally, Alliance Tire has added size 420/70-24 tire to its Alliance F-370 Agroforestry model line. The tire features a high-elasticity design and rugged tread compound for traction power, low compaction and puncture resistance, the company said.
“Our R&D team continues to focus on tire technology that delivers performance, reliability and value,” said James Tuschner, marketing director for Alliance Tire. “Despite the current market challenges, our customers around the world are continuing to meet the world's demand for food, fiber, timber and other resources.”
