NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 22, 2008) — Bridgestone/Firestone will recall 2,100 Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684 II tires that were not properly marked on the outlined white letter side of the tire.
The tire maker said the recalled tires are size P235/60R17. The tires do not have any structural or performance safety issues, the Nashville-based tire maker said. They were made at BFS' Aiken County, S.C., plant last September and October. The tires were sold through the company's channel of independent dealers and company-owned retail stores.
Consumers in the U.S. can receive free replacement Dueler H/T tires at any BFS company-owned store. The recalled tires have 3807, 3907, 4007, 4107 and 4207 at the end of DOT serial numbers 7XOUBD4 stamped on the black sidewall. Consumers can call (800) 465-1904 for more information.
