NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 14, 2008) — Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire L.L.C. (BFNT) and Bridgestone Firestone Canada Inc. (BFCA) recently signed a global multi-year partnership with three major hockey organizations.
Bridgestone will be the official tire of the National Hockey League (NHL), National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) and the Hockey Hall of Fame.
As part of the agreement, BFNT and BFCA will have exclusive promotional opportunities at various NHL events and rights to the league's premiere trademarks among other marketing benefits.
