GREENVILLE, S.C. (Nov. 13, 2007) — Michelin North America Inc. next year will select 50 individuals across the U.S. to receive tire donations as part of the tire maker's Driving America's Safety program for emergency workers.
The program seeks nominations of firefighters or EMS personnel to receive tires for their emergency equipment. Nominations can be made online at www.michelinman.com through Nov. 23.
“Nominating a firefighter or EMT in your community is a great way to recognize the heroic activities they perform everyday,” said Parmeet Grover, Michelin brand director. “Through Michelin Driving America's Safety, we have the ability to reward these heroes and impact their safety on the roads by ensuring some of the neediest emergency responder vehicles are riding on new Michelin tires.”
