RALEIGH, N.C. (March 14, 2007) — American Car Care Centers (ACCC) Inc. will launch a marketing/training package April 1 for its tire dealer members through a partnership with Carquest Auto Parts.
For a fee, ACCC's 1,115 dealers have the option to enroll in the program—dubbed MaxPak—that offers numerous benefits, including Web-based technician training programs, comprehensive insurance coverage, discounts on parts and equipment purchases and customized marketing options such as customer newsletters, survey cards and key fobs.
ACCC said MaxPak addresses key concerns its dealers expressed during focus groups held around the country. Those concerns involved a desire for more training, more sales and profits, and a comprehensive insurance option.
ACCC said it created the package in conjunction with Carquest because the Raleigh-based company already established most of the programs and offers them to its own network of 3,400 independently owned Carquest dealerships. Memphis, Tenn.-based ACCC has been a national account customer for Carquest automotive parts for about 10 years.
