Hankook to raise prices 5%

WAYNE, N.J. (Aug. 22, 2006) — Hankook Tire America Corp. will raise prices up to 5 percent on its passenger, high performance, light truck and medium truck tires, effective Oct. 1.

The price hikes reflect the continuing rises in raw material costs, Hankook said.
