AKRON (Aug. 10, 2006) — Goodyear launched a Web site for its Fierce tires, aimed at highlighting the tuner brand the tire maker launched earlier this year.
The Web site's features include an introductory video, a section for users to submit their own vehicle photos, customizable interior views of vehicles, information about Fierce apparel, select songs for download, a retailer locator and sign-ups for e-mail updates.
Goodyear said the consumer demand for Fierce has been “overwhelmingly positive.”
“The branding of Fierce for this tire line introduces a new nameplate for our retailers and for the enthusiasts in this segment,” said Chris Magana, marketing manager for Fierce. “…We want the brand name to help tell potential buyers that Fierce is a line of tires that offers style and performance at a great value.”
The brand includes three lines of tires: the ST for sport trucks, HP or high performance and UHP or ultra-high performance.
