DEARBORN, Mich. (July 6, 2006) — Bradley J. Bolton and Aaron Clay, seniors at Paris High School in Paris, Texas, won first prize in the 2006 Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills competition, held in Dearborn June 27.
The budding technicians—who took less than 30 minutes to diagnose and repair the pre-set problems in a new Ford Mustang convertible—received thousands of dollars in prizes and scholarships to several auto technology colleges.
Second prize went to Travis Bradfield and Ken Netcher from Vale High School in Vale, Ore., the school that won first prize in last year's competition.
