BROOKLYN, N.Y. (April 12, 2006) — D&J Tire Works Inc., a Brooklyn-based commercial and off-the-road tire repair dealership, will participate in the Rubber Manufacturers Association's consumer education program during National Tire Safety Week, April 24-29.
D&J Tire will be offering free inspections of tire pressure and treads as well as hand out free tire safety brochures. “It is our turn to give back to the community,” said Joseph Borelli, co-owner of D&J Tire.
“If the feedback from the community is positive, we will look into putting together a free tire safety clinic for National Tire Safety Week 2007,” said Maria Keratsos-Borrelli, a vice president of marketing and new business at D&J Tire.
