RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 10, 2006)—David Poisson, former executive vice president of the former Tire Association of North America (TANA), was elected as a Democrat last November to the Virginia House of Delegates.
Mr. Poisson represents the 32nd District, encompassing eastern Loudoun County, and is serving his first legislative term in Richmond, which is scheduled to run Jan. 11-March 11.
Mr. Poisson, who joined TANA in 1996, left the association in March 2000, a year before it merged with the International Tire and Rubber Association to become the Tire Industry Association. His Web site states that he is now of counsel at the Washington, D.C., law firm of Howe, Anderson and Steyer, as well as president of Jenkins Hill Partners, a Dulles, Va.-based research and communications consulting firm specializing in representing businesses nationwide on legislative issues.
