PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2005) — The Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) has begun its fourth year as a regular weekly contributor to Sirius Satellite Radio's Channel 147, the Sirius Trucking Network (STN).

Harvey Brodsky, TRIB's managing director, can be heard live on “The Open Road CafÃ&Copy;” program for truckers every Wednesday morning, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The program is recorded and repeated several times until the next live broadcast.

“The Open Road CafÃ&Copy;,” hosted by Mark Willis and produced by Elizabeth Walsh, is the only all-in-one news and information morning program specifically for the trucking community, and it has approximately 225,000 listeners per day. The show can be heard throughout the U.S., from coast-to-coast and border-to-border, and in many parts of Canada, accirding to TRIB.

Mr. Brodsky discusses tire retreading, tire repairing and the importance of proper tire maintenance for all tires.

“Despite the many benefits from retreaded tires and their proven record of performance and safety, there is still a lot of resistance among owner operators and trucking companies to give retreads a try,” Mr. Brodsky said. “There remains the misconception that retreads aren't as good or as safe as new tires.”

Mr. Willis noted that “the show has become very popular. Our phones lines are typically flooded when Harvey is on the program. The discussions with callers are often very lively, and the diverse range of questions always make for an educational session as well.”

TRIB Associate Director David A. Kolman can also be heard on the program every Friday at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Like Mr. Brodsky's program, Mr. Kolman's show is also recorded and repeated throughout the week.
