Mighty Auto Parts has launched a program that allows shops to cover their customers' repairs, including parts and labor, and towing and rental car service expenses.
For a monthly fee, consumers will pay no out-of-pocket expenses traveling in the U.S., Canada or Mexico, Mighty said, and there are no charge backs and no claims for shops to pay under the warranty program. The service covers repairs on any brand of parts used.
The program allows customers 25 miles or more from a repair facility to call the Mighty Warranty Administrator (MWA) prior to performing repairs, and the MWA will take care of all administrative details, the company said.
Mighty's warranty program includes: a network of 30,000 warranty centers operating nationwide; a comprehensive nationwide repair warranty good for 12 months or 12,000 miles; services available in Canada and Mexico; and no parts to replace or labor claims to pay by participating shops.
