DUNCAN, S.C. (Oct. 21, 2005) —Tire Centers L.L.C. (TCI) has launched a program called TCI ONCall to bolster its emergency response service.
As part of the new program, TCI has teamed up with Emergency Breakdown Services (EBS), a dispatcher, to help respond to emergency calls. The company said EBS dispatch personnel have extensive tire industry knowledge and experience.
“We're excited about the benefits that our new TCI ONCall program will offer customers,” said Randy Gaetz, vice president of sales and marketing, TCI commercial division. “EBS has demonstrated a true customer orientation and has helped us to implement the improvements we felt our customers needed in an emergency road service program.”
TCI, a subsidiary of Michelin North America Inc., said that some examples of program improvements include honoring TCI's On Time Done Right customer service guarantee for all emergency calls, adherence to a specific pricing schedule by all network service providers, and the inclusion of minor mechanical and towing services in the TCI ONCall program.
