CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 3, 2005) — Continental Tire North America Inc.'s passenger and light truck replacement group this month is introducing two online initiatives designed to make product and marketing information more available for business partners.
Conti said the first initiative, E-Zone online training, is the next generation to the company's CD-based product training. The tool provides access to Continental and General tire product information and selling scenarios.
The second initiative is dubbed CTNA's Web Toolbox. This tool serves as an online resource for Continental and General tire marketing materials. Users can order point-of-sale materials, signage, catalogs and other products to enhance brand identification.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our services,” said Andreas Gerstenberger, CTNA's vice president of sales and marketing for the passenger and light truck replacement group. “These tools are specifically designed to provide our business partners with a flexible and easy access to our training and marketing materials.”
The tools are accessible through ContiLink, the tire maker's dealer extranet Web site.
