WASHINGTON (Sept. 14, 2005) — Three automotive aftermarket associations—the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA)—are conducting a survey about data management in the aftermarket supply chain.
The survey is part of a study designed to assess the aftermarket industry's data management needs. The three associations have hired Digiton, a supply chain management firm, to conduct the research assessing industry requirements, issues and challenges related to data management, according to an AAIA press release.
