HARRISONVILLE, Mo. (Aug. 1, 2005) — In its bid to sell products in China, Advantage PressurePro, manufacturer of PressurePro TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems, has entered into distribution and manufacturing agreements with two Chinese companies.
PressurePro of Harrisonville formed a joint venture last November with Dowwell Ltd. of Shanghai, China, called Advantage Asia Ltd. In January, PressurePro also signed a development and manufacturing deal with Shenzhen Hangsheng Electronics Co. Ltd. to design and manufacture its TPMS products for worldwide distribution.
The company said its products range from systems for passenger cars and light trucks to large vehicles with up to 34 wheel locations and that its sensors screw onto the valve stems of any tires up to 150 psi. The monitors can alert to low pressures at both a 12.5- and 25-percent pressure loss, PressurePro said.
PressurePro also was recently named the sixth fastest growing company in Kansas City, Mo., by Ingram's magazine's Corporate Report 100.
