GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 1, 2005) — Michelin North America Inc. will increase prices on its commercial tire lines up to 8 percent, the tire maker said.
Commercial truck tire prices will be hiked by 3 to 5 percent effective July 1 for Michelin's directly billed North American fleet accounts and Sept. 1 for dealer accounts. The increases apply to Michelin and BFGoodrich brand replacement tires sold in the U.S., the Greenville-based tire maker said.
Earthmover tire prices will increase an average of 7 percent on replacement tires sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico effective July 1.
Agricultural tire prices also will rise by an average of 5 percent for all replacement tires sold in Canada and an average of 8 percent for all replacement tires sold in the U.S., effective July 1.
