CLERMONT-FERRAND, France (May 26, 2005) — Group Michelin's shareholders have voted Finance Director Michel Rollier a managing partner, alongside Edouard Michelin and René Zingraff.
Mr. Rollier, 60, has been with Michelin since 1996, serving in the legal and finance departments before advancing to chief financial officer in October 1999. His replacement is Jean-Dominique Senard, who joined Michelin in March in advance of becoming chief financial officer at year-end, Michelin said.
Mr. Zingraff, 68, has been with Michelin since 1963 and a managing partner since 1986. He was head of industrial operations at Michelin's U.S. operations from 1982-86.
Mr. Senard moves to Michelin from the French trading conglomerate Alcan, where he is a member of the executive committee. He also has held financial and managerial positions with the Total S.A. and Saint-Gobain Group.
Mr. Zingraff lauded Mr. Rollier's determination, professionalism and devotion to the company in announcing his appointment.
