FINDLAY, OHIO (May 24, 2005) — Steve D. Sawyer has been named director, customer marketing, for Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.
In his new position, Mr. Sawyer will be responsible for Cooper's customer service, program pricing and price operations, the Findlay-based tire maker said.
Mr. Sawyer, who has been with Cooper since 1985, previously worked as logistics coordinator, transport manager, domestic and international customer service manager and marketing services manager. Most recently he served as marketing program pricing manager. In 2003 he transferred to the Findlay office from the company's Cooper-Avon Tyre headquarters in Melksham, England.
