IRVINE, Calif. (May 10, 2005) — The 2005 XM Satellite Radio Hot Import Nights (HIN) tour will be winding its way to the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta May 28.
The Georgia event is sponsored by Vision Entertainment and Atlanta-based Number One Parts Inc. (NOPI) and presented by Valvoline Synpower. It is billed as the largest lifestyle custom car show in the nation and “the only one of its kind that brings together all elements of youth and car culture in one night.”
In addition to hundreds of hot custom cars competing for prizes in several categories, event attendees can hear non-stop entertainment, including live music, multiple DJs, model and celebrity appearances and the nation's top car designers displaying the latest in custom car trends. For the Atlanta show, NOPI will display tricked-out showcars and its official Team NOPI rig selling various NOPI parts and apparel.
HIN, open 5 p.m. until midnight, costs $25 for general admission and $55 to enter the car competition.
“Hot Import Nights and NOPI are both known for awesome lifestyle events and customized cars on display,” NOPI President Michael Meyers said. “Being an Atlanta-based company, we're extremely excited to team up with Hot Import Nights for this event in our back yard.”
The 2005 HIN season kicked off in March in Los Angeles, breaking all previous attendance records.
