ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 6, 2005) — Monro Muffler Brake Inc. said its fourth quarter comparable store sales will grow 4-5 percent, with earnings of $1.36 or $1.37 per share.
Rochester-based Monro's comparable store growth expectation still is in line with its original forecast of 3 to 5 percent. The expected earnings would be up from $1.18 per share last year.
Monro also said it finalized the acquisition of 10 Mr. Tire retail stores in Baltimore. The stores have combined annual sales of about $12.5 million.
The 626-store automotive service company will report its fourth quarter and fiscal 2005 results May 24.
