KENNEWICK, Wash. (March 17, 2005) — The Northwest Tire Dealers Association (NWTDA) has named Gene Tomish its new executive director, replacing Dick Nordness.
Mr. Tomish, selected by the group's board of directors March 16, will begin his duties next week, according to Buzz Forbes, past president of the association. Mr. Tomish, a former OK Tire dealer, is retired from the tire industry and is a farmer. He sits on the board of directors for the Farm Bureau in his region, Mr. Forbes said.
Mr. Tomish resides in the Tri-City rural area of Washington, which encompasses Kennewick, Richland and Pasco.
