BFG to sponsor fishing series
GREENVILLE, S.C.-Michelin North America Inc.'s BFGoodrich brand will sponsor the new Wal-Mart FLW Kingfish Tour and Wal-Mart FLW Redfish Series.
Competitive fishing marketer FLW Outdoors said in August it would enter saltwater angling with the two competitions. As a sponsor, BFGoodrich will be a visible component of the two series as well as other tours and leagues, FLW said.
BFGoodrich also participates in FLW's freshwater series.
RMA updates tire guidelines
WASHINGTON-The Rubber Manufacturers Association has updated its tire servicing manual for consumers and tire service professionals, providing tire industry guidelines for replacing passenger and light truck tires.
The eight-page manual covers tires through Load Range E and addresses topics such as selecting replacement tires, tire mixing, replacing fewer than four tires, plus-sizing and tire rim/wheel selection. It also contains a supplement that includes standards tables for approved rim widths, light truck load/inflation and some obsolete data, the RMA said.

TBC hires Deploy to improve HR
WESTWOOD, Mass.-TBC Corp. is turning to Deploy Solutions Inc., a Westwood-based human resources software company, to help its retail units improve their hiring process, reduce employee turnover and upgrade their job performance assessment program.
TBC initially will use the software at its Tire Kingdom subsidiary's 600-plus stores in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, Vermont, New Hampshire, Texas, Virginia and Ohio.
