WESTWOOD, Mass. (Feb. 17, 2005) — TBC Corp. is turning to Deploy Solutions Inc., a Westwood-based human resources software company, to help its retail units improve their hiring process, reduce employee turnover and upgrade their job performance assessment program.
“We'll be able to consolidate and automate on a company-wide basis what is currently a completely manual system,” said Troy Fee, vice president of human resources for TBC's Tire Kingdom, Merchant's Tire & Auto and National Tire & Battery (NTB) units.
TBC based its selection of Deploy's system on its “flexibility and configurability to grow with us,” Mr. Fee said. TBC evaluated numerous vendors before selecting Deploy, the software company said.
TBC initially will use the software at its Tire Kingdom subsidiary's 600-plus stores in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, Vermont, New Hampshire, Texas, Virginia and Ohio.
Deploy Solutions claims other customers have used its systems to cut costs-per-hire by up to 70 percent, boost retention by up to 10 percent and cut time-to-hire by up to 50 percent.
The company said it draws upon flexible technology, deep domain experience and a comprehensive approach to human resource metrics and analytics to drive measurable results for customers.
