GREENVILLE, S.C. (Feb. 17, 2005) — Michelin North America Inc.'s BFGoodrich brand will sponsor the new Wal-Mart FLW Kingfish Tour and Wal-Mart FLW Redfish Series.
Competitive fishing marketer FLW Outdoors said in August it would enter saltwater angling with the two competitions. As a sponsor, BFGoodrich will be a visible component of the two series as well as other tours and leagues, FLW said.
“Anglers and their families represent a key demographic for BFGoodrich tires,” said Thom Peebles, brand director. “By sponsoring the new FLW Kingfish Tour and FLW Redfish Series, we will increase brand awareness and promote BFGoodrich tires as the brand of choice among this large outdoor enthusiast audience.”
BFGoodrich also participates in FLW's freshwater series.
