DETROIT (Jan. 7, 2005) — Michelin North America Inc.'s BFGoodrich Tires unit and Pirelli Tire North America Inc. have secured new original equipment fitments.
Ford Motor Co. and Toyota Motor Corp. have chosen BFG tires for the Roush Performance F-150 truck and Tacoma pick-up, respectively.
Ford chose the BFG g-Force T/A KDW, size 285/55R20, for all three versions of the super-modified Roush Performance models – Sport, Stage 1 and Stage 2.
Toyota selected the BFG Rugged Trail T/A, size 265/70R16, for an upgraded off-road version of the 2005 Tacoma pick-up line.
Pirelli picked up an OE fitment with General Motors Corp.'s Chevrolet Division for the new Cobalt two-door coupe and four-door sedan. Pirelli did not say which model or size was chosen. Chevrolet's Web site cites several 16-inch Pirelli fitments.
