VALENCIA, Calif. (Dec. 7, 2004)—In a move to better reflect its growing manufacturing base in China, the Pacific Rim and beyond, China Manufacturers Alliance Inc. has changed its name to American Pacific Industries Inc. (API).
The name change “follows a year of phenomenal growth in which the company doubled its sales volume,” API said.
“We look forward to another highly successful year as we continue our global expansion,” said Jeff Kreitzman, CEO of API.
Based in Valencia, API said it has expanded its manufacturing base to include India. In addition, it is planning a major expansion into Indonesia in the first quarter of 2005.
API's product screen includes all tire types from solid industrial to off-the-road, as well as rubber tracks, marketed under a variety of brand names including Advance, Armour, Gladiator, Pegasus, Nortech, Vortex and Wynstar.
