BEDFORD, Texas (Nov. 10, 2004) — The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has signed a new partnership agreement with the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota (AASP-MN).
Based in Minneapolis, AASP-MN's membership includes independently owned automotive service businesses and industry suppliers dedicated to improving the state's automotive service industry and the success of its members.
Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive, said “joining forces on the issues we commonly support increases our strength and effectiveness in making a positive difference for automotive service professionals. We look forward to working with AASP-Minnesota to support and advance our industry.”
“AASP-MN is always looking for ways to enhance its value to our membership and the industry at large,” said Gary Lofald, the group's president. “Our partnership with ASA provides the framework to work cooperatively together on issues of mutual interest and make the automotive service industry a better place to do business.”
Bedford- based ASA's board recently approved the pact.
