LAS VEGAS (Nov. 3, 2004) — Bridgestone/Firestone launched the second tire in its tuner Fuzion line, the Fuzion HRi, at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas.
Designed to enhance overall performance yet carry an affordable price tag, the HRi will be available in 24 sizes ranging from 14- to 17-inch rim diameters with aspect ratios of 60- to 40-series. The H-rated tire will be available to retail customers in the first half of 2005, BFS said.
The tire maker launched the Fuzion ZRi last year at the SEMA show, introducing the new Fuzion line.
“The Fuzion ZRi tire has been met with tremendous enthusiasm and demand from auto enthusiasts alike,” said Michael Fluck, advertising and Internet manager for BFS. “Expanding this popular tire line to reach the masses with the Fuzion HRi is our commitment to deliver additional options for consumers in the aftermarket.”
While the ZRi launch was supported with neon green prevalent in its advertising, the HRi will feature neon orange, BFS said.
