Ark. dealers plan golf outing
HORSESHOE BEND, Ark.-The Arkansas Independent Tire Dealers Association (AITDA) will hold its annual scholarship golf outing Oct. 9 at the Cottonwoods Golf Course in Robinsonville, Miss.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble that will feature a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. Team cash prizes include $300 for first place; $280 for second; and $260 for third. An awards dinner and entertainment will be held at the Hollywood Cafe.

ASA inks deal for members

Lift association taps officers
INDIALANTIC, Fla.-The Automotive Lift Institute elected Gary Kennon of Rotary Lift to serve as chairman of its board of directors during its recent membership meeting.
Chic Fox was appointed president by the board and re-elected treasurer of the Institute, while Anne White-Fox continues to serve as secretary.
Re-elected to the board were the following directors: Chris Edwards of Western Manufacturing in National City, Calif.; Jerry Lentz of Louisville, Ky.-based Challenger Lifts; Pete Liebetreu of Bridgeton, Mo.-based Hunter Engineering Co.; Rick Wells of Mohawk Resources; and Harold Yeo of Wheeltronic.
