BOWIE, Md. (Aug. 17, 2004) — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has set its fall and winter dates for the Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Certified Instructor Programs.
The courses will be taught in Baltimore and Denver. The programs certify individuals to conduct certified technician courses for other employees at their business.
TIA said the ATS program is divided into a three- and four-day program. The three-day program allows participants to certify technicians; the four-day program allows them to certify both technicians and other instructors upon completion. The CTS program also is divided into three- and four-day programs. The shorter is for individuals with more than two years experience servicing truck tires, and the four-day program is for individuals with less than two years of experience in the field.
The ATS training in Baltimore will be held Sept. 21-24, Sept. 21-23, Dec. 14-17 and Dec.14-16. CTS training in Baltimore will be held Oct. 12-15 and Oct. 13-15. ATS training in Denver will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 3 and Nov. 30-Dec. 2. CTS training in Denver will be Sept. 14-17, Sept. 15-17, Dec. 7-10 and Dec. 8-10.
