DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Aug. 4, 2004) — Seven incumbents and three newcomers were elected to the board of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA).
The election was held at SEMA's annual Installation Banquet July 30 in Pasadena, Calif. The association also honored Hall of Fame inductees at the event.
Newcomers include Dick Hill of Centerforce Clutches, Prescott, Ariz.; Ralph Accinno of Racers Equipment, East Providence, R.I.; and Steve Swanson of Foster-Babcock & Associates, Kansas City, Mo. Re-elected incumbents include Matt Agosta of Steele Rubber Products, Denver, N.C.; Jim Cozzie of B&M Racing and Performance Parts, Telford, Pa.; Rick Rollins of Superchips Inc, Sanford, Fla.; Russell Stephens of MSD Ignition, El Paso, Texas; Kathy Bybee-Hartzell of CollectorCarTraderOnline.com, Virginia Beach, Va.; Patrick Judge of Keystone Automotive Operations Inc., Exeter, Pa.; and Jon Wyly of Arrow Speed Warehouse, Kansas City, Kan.
Other members of the board are continuing their terms.
Officiating at the banquet was SEMA Chairman Corky Coker, president of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Coker Tire Co. Inc. Mitch Williams, founder of Vehicle Performance Systems Inc. in Peachtree, Ga., and national sales development manager of ANSA Automotive of Macon, Ga., is SEMA´s chairman-elect and will be installed as the group´s chairman in 2005.
