WASHINGTON (June 24, 2004) — TakingTheHill.com, the grassroots political Web site of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), has sent more than 900 messages to elected federal and state officials since its inception in mid-March, the group said in a press release.
Shop owners, motorists and other visitors to the site have sent messages through the site's Legislative Alert Center, noted ASA Washington Representative Bob Redding in the release. TakingTheHill.com includes information on candidates in the upcoming elections, comprehensive reports on legislation of importance to the auto repair industry, and the association's Megavote and Action Network e-mail lists.
