TIA reworking training schedule
BOWIE, Md.-After closing its Louisville, Ky., training center May 5, the Tire Industry Association (TIA) is working on a new training schedule and locations.
TIA is in the process of relocating its Certified Instructor courses, both for Commercial Tire Service (CTS) and Automotive Tire Service (ATS). These classes will resume in September and will be held in Denver and Baltimore, the association said. Specific locations and dates are yet to be determined. A complete schedule, along with registration information, should be available by August on TIA's Web site, www.tireindustry.org.

Radiator assn. forms partnership
MT. LAUREL, N.J.-The National Automotive Radiator Service Association (NARSA) has entered into a partnership with Association Headquarters Inc., a management company.
With more than 25 years of experience managing associations, Association Headquarters will provide strategic services as well as day-to-day operations for the organization. China tire expo coming to Shanghai
BEIJING, China-Visitors from more than 40 countries are expected to exhibit this year at China's largest international tire expo.
The China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO), an event first held in December 2003, is returning Sept. 24-26 to the Shanghai East Asia Exhibition Center in Shanghai, China.
The expo is a dedicated event for tires, wheels, parts and accessories, tools, equipment and machinery and was created to handle China's growing demand for automobile tires, according to CITEXPO show management. Eighty exhibitors from more than 40 countries, including China, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore and India, participated in the event last year, including 19 from Asia, 16 from Europe, four from the U.S. and two from Africa and Australia. Approximately 8,021 visitors attended CITEXPO 2003.
