BOCA RATON, Fla. (June 16, 2004) — The Florida Automotive Trades Association (FATA) will host its third annual convention and trade show July 23-25 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina in Tampa, Fla.
FATA represents the Automotive Service Association of Florida and the Florida Independent Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association. The gathering will feature an aftermarket industry panel discussing current industry trends. Jack Winterton, Goodyear vice president of consumer tire sales, will be among the panelists.
“This year's theme, 'Teamwork…Overcoming Challenges with Solutions,' reflects the spirit of our industry working together to help automotive shops and tire dealers succeed,” said FATA Convention Chairman Shawn Long of Long Tire in Tampa. “Florida's automotive service professionals and tire dealers won't want to miss this convention.”
